How Oracle Policy Automation is used to determine whether you should contact Community Services regarding a risk to a child
Speaker: Ronald Holstegge, Program Manager, NSW Department of Human Services, Community Services
Ronald Holstegge is a Program Manager for Community Services, an agency of the NSW Department of Human Services. His background over the past 15 years has been in the implementation and management of SAP based Logistics, Finance and HR solutions for Compaq, HP and most recently Community Services. But when Community Services was faced with responding to sweeping legislative changes as a result of a Special Commission of Inquiry into the NSW Child Protection System, he was asked to manage two Oracle Policy Automation implementation projects. Ronald will discuss how a detailed set of guidelines of over 100 pages was transformed into a simple and easy to use online “interview” to assist those people in the NSW community who by law must contact Community Services under circumstances where a “significant risk of harm” is suspected. The resultant tool, the Online Mandatory Reporter Guide, will be demonstrated as part of the presentation.
Prior to the main presentation there will be a presentation by our Annual Sponsor Experian QAS.
Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity to network with other Siebel professionals over drinks.
